PowerCLI script to rename the guest OS hostname on Mac OSX?

So I have a thread posted here vRA 7.5 and Apple OSX blueprints and I'm not getting any answers, so I'm wondering if there's a way to run a script like this: PowerCLI: Rename Windows Guest OS Hostname – The Admin Script Bank  on Mac OSX and rename it from the template name to the VM name after it's been cloned and setup using vRA.  It's a problem I need to get solved somehow, but I'm not really seeing an easy way to do so.  I know there's no Guest OS Customization in vCenter for Mac and I'm doubting the Linux part would work, so my guess is that it's going to come down to a script and somehow get it to activate in vRA.  But is any of this possible or do I need to look elsewhere?
